When is rent considered late?


Rent is due the 1st of every month and is considered late if not received at the office by 5 PM EST on the 5th of every month.




Does your office have an after-hours drop box?


Yes, there is a mail slot on the window directly to the left of the door handle. Under NO circumstances should cash be dropped in the after-hours box.




Am I able to pay my rent in cash?


We prefer all payments be made through your tenant portal or by personal check, ACH, or certified cashier's check.




After I move out, when will I get my security deposit returned to me?


In the state of North Carolina, within 30 days after your financial responsibility ends at the property and keys are returned to property manager, we must send you either a full refund of your deposit or a written itemized accounting of any deductions along with any remaining refund amount. In instances where the full amount of damage cannot be deteremined within 30 days, we may send you a written interim accounting of deductions claimed, followed by a final accounting no later than 60 days following the end of tenancy. -NC Real Estate Commision "Questions and Answers on Tenant Security Deposits"
